Trebbiano Verde, grape variety of ancient origin that the ancient Romans called virdis due to the characteristic color of the berries, was cultivated in the Roman countryside, where it was the reference white grape before the phylloxera crisis. At our winery we believe it can express the unique and irrefutable characteristics of the great white wine that it is.

Viognier, planted and spread throughout the northern part of the Rhone Valley by the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius Probus, has become widespread across Lazio in recent years with exciting results. We are cultivating it on our land, where the grapevine has been flourishing for thousands of years, trying to convey the characteristics that only a unique territory can give.

Viticulture in the Frascati area has a millenary tradition; vines were already cultivated since pre Roman times, in the ancient Tusculum city, where the wine produced was highly appreciated and renowned. The terrain where vines grow is of volcanic origin, well-drained and rich in pozzolans, tuffs and basalt; soils capable of transferring unique characteristi- cs to the wine.

Malvasia Puntinata is the most important native white grape of Lazio, cultivated for centuries on its volcanic hills. It was first described at the end of 1500 by Andrea Bacci, Botany Professor at the La Sapienza University, through his work “The Natural History of Wines”.
We produced a wine with respect to those who have traveled the history of our land over the centuries.
